WANTED modestly priced 4/4 for road/race

Post by Mary Lindsay »

I am looking for a modestly priced 4/4 for my son John as a road/race car.
I don't want anything too smart as we are old-fashioned and would prefer something we can fettle up ourselves.
Does anyone out there have a suitable case for treatment?

Mary- have you rung Terry Foxon at GEE?
He often has projects that have not been advertised, and he might actually have all the bits to build a 4/4 if you have the time!

Thanks for the suggestion John, I have emailed Terry but no response so far.
We aren't looking for another full rebuild!

Thanks Jochem, viewing it would be a little difficult and it would cost a few pounds to get it back to the UK!

Thanks for letting us know Mary. I was only thinking of you the other day as there was a 4/4 4 seater for sale on one of the classic cars for sale websites and I was waiting to get back in to work (today!) to let you know!

Happy Morganing New Year to you and yours...

Cheers

Hi Jim, that sounds very interesting!
I would like to chat to you about it.
John Bevan gave me your mobile number, when would it be best to call you?

Hi Mary,

Just to let you know I have some surplus plus 4 / 4/4 bits and pieces that may be of interest.

Set of fibreglass wings, oil catch tank (1 ltr), Mocal oil cooler parts, pair of new anti tramp bars, s/s silencer and tailpipe and other bits and pieces.

You never know...!

Cheers

Mark
