For sale: My Tupperware Morgan.
Price 12,500 Euros.
Red two seater with red alu wheels. Car is built on a 4/4 chassis. Full Fibre glass body, doors and wings. Steel bonnets and cowl. 1600cc crossflow engine. Runs and drives well. Gearbox ok but jumps out of the first gear every now and then. No original papers with the car as it was home built by a morgan owner on a straightened chassis of his own car (he rebuilt his own car on a new factory chassis, then restored the old chassis and built this car). The fibre glass parts were sourced in the early eighties through Sid Watson.
Perfect novice track car or a basis for a Serious 4/4 race car! Very light! That is what I bought it for years ago but no time to actually do it.
I later bought a chassis number and US title (and cut out piece of the actual chassis) of a 1967 4/4. So that comes with the car. New owner can stamp the numbers in and get a registration.
Is it a real Morgan? I Dont know.... nobody would be able to tell the difference.... it is built on an original Morgan chassis... all original suspension etc....but still very much a “bitsa” and 80% is fibre glass and no ash frame.... So maybe not a real Morgan.... but then again... can you get a real Morgan for Eur 12.500?
Install a rollbar and take it to the track! Or arrange the title and drive it on the road.
Car is in Holland.
