For sale- Ford kent engine and Weber carbs from stage 3 engine by Vulcan. The piston is cracked but will sell/ donate bits to fellow Morganeers.

The Webers+ filters+ manifold £200 or thereabouts

I will bring the rest of the bits to prescott if you are there.I think Tim was also interested possibly- but best to see the engine in the flesh so to speak!

Hi,

I might have a more urgent need for this now

Only 1600cc, big valves, 8000 revs on a standard crank and 130 BHP at the wheels

It wont rev to 8001 though. Let go at Cadwell big style with nos 1 and 2 rods through opposite sides of the crankcase. The curse of Cadwell !!!

Beat bogey in first practice
Got washed out in second practice
First timed run was really going for it and engine blew
Second timed run, heavens opened again and track flooded

Hope Gurston was as good !!

Bad luck Tim. MyMorgan is going up to Chas Windridge on Wednesday. I can leave all the engine bits in the car if you want to go to Mogsport and have a look and take what you want after seeing it. I presume you don't need the carbs.
