Ouch! Mind you, touring cars on a street circuit is asking for trouble....

Oh dear.

Mind you, these guys can barely make it round a normal race circuit. A street circuit just looks too challenging for them!

maybe the BMW driver hadn't spotted the waved yellows :roll:

seriously for a moment , there thats over with .
the saftey car driver and spotter were both prosecuted by the Fia as it appeares they were asked to ready themselves but not asked to drive onto the track. the telemetry from the bmw showed that he had braked at the first yellow and reduced speed substantially.

Well researched Jerry. It does seem bizarre that the safety car driver just lurched out into the centre of the road (like some of the scary pensioners round here).
