Re: Bob Revisited
Now you are being boring..........
Re: Bob Revisited
Mary,
I was only trying to admit that I had misjudged you and attempting an apology, but now I'm boring!!
What must a chap do, after 49 years of marriage* (to the same woman Jack) I still have no idea how a female mind works.
Bob
* I know that some men have had wax jackets longer than that, but wax jackets don't talk back.

Now Jack I really must protest on Sally's behalf here. [-X

Dear Jack & Mary,
At risk of causing offence, may I politely remind you both that this thread is dedicated to sporting and athletic prowess, and is intended to reflect on the achievements in competitive, physical sports of individuals. It is not the place to air marital problems. I accept some blame for allowing the posts to wander slightly from it's original purpose, however, I feel now is the time to steer away from intrapersonal relationships, and get back on track.
I therefore invite you to submit pictures that reflect the theme.
Mary, do you not have photographic evidence of some glorious episode from your past? Crossing the finish line in the Inworth Ladies Egg and Spoon Race, acknowledging the chequered flag when winning the Essex Schoolgirl Marathon, perhaps?
Jack. Surely you have snaps of your leotard clad figure recieving the 'It's a Knockout Trophy' from Eddie Waring, or even action photos of your novelty bike race win?
In fact I invite all viewers to contribute their own precious memories of sporting endeavour to this spot, as I would not wish to hog the limelight.
Come on chaps, let's not hide our light under a bushel, the public awaits your 'Moments of Glory'.
Ladies, I appreciate that you may be a little shy of exposing yourselves to the gaze of some of the rough types that inhabit this site, but many of the more gentlemanly amongst us would be pleased to hear from you.
Kindest regards to all,
Bob
