I have entered, still the best value for 40mins race time.
Morgan still in the workshop and wont be ready, BUT have found a suitable donor car - my fathers Mark IV Cobra which should be a fun!

Re: Pomeroy Trophy
I have entered in my 1920 Vauxhall 30-98 which has less(in all senses) brakes than the +8, thus getting a much better handicap so I may manage to finish higher than 83rd this year
Looking forward to seeing you in that Cobra Mark!

Hopefully this link will take you to a set of pics that may be of interest to Morgan folk attending this year's Pomeroy Trophy Meeting, thank goodness Mark Shears turned up in a Malvern made car!

Bob, disappointed you didnt snap one of me going backwards down the straight!!
Re: Pomeroy Trophy
Mark,
Like all good photographers, I positioned myself where the 'incidents' were mostly likely to occur, sadly iI failed to learn from Kelvin's antics last year and realised that 'Morgan Drivers' tend to 'do it' in the most unlikely places.
I missed you after the event so could not discover the reason why, from pole position, you finished the first lap a very dead last! And I thought you were just being cautious in Dad's car.
Silly me!
regards,
Bob.
PS: All my pics are now on the 'general pictures' site so Max can view and download from there.

Re: Pomeroy Trophy
Provisional results now out. Blakeney-Edwards did it again in the Frazer Nash saloon, FN second and a 1996 Fiat Coupe third.
Tony improved on his 83rd. place in the Morgan last year, by finishing 26th. overall and winning the Pomeroy Trophy for Edwardians.
Well done Tony.
Mark G-S was also in the event, but I won't embarrass by mentioning his result.
Bob.
NB. Tony interviews as well as he drives.

Re: Pomeroy Trophy
Bob you are too kind.
It was a great event - the VSCC at bonkers best.
It was mighty slippery!
Cheers, Tony
