Another Quiet Time

Post by Bob Bull »

Once again as the new season approaches we find that the forum has 'gone quiet'. Apart from the occasional entry in the Pom topic, most people seem to be either too busy fettling, or still recovering from the festive season.
Surely someone has something of interest to add to BHP to enliven our humdrum lives, and lift the spirits prior to the awesome excitement of the Pomeroy bursts upon us.

For example;
Has Mary managed to fit another wheel on Bulldog?

Any chance that John Emerson has purchased yet another Morgan?

Maybe Peter Rafter has heard a new joke he would like to share with us?

Has Kate O-G invented another sandwich filling?

Perhaps Mark Shears has flogged his old car?

Possibly John Bevan is working on another 'winter pastime wheeze'?

Did Keth Ahlers ever find his way back from Lancashire?

Most important of all has Jack found his false teeth yet, following the debacle of the MSCC dinner and dance?

Come on chaps get writing, before we all atrophy.

Bob.

Does that mean we are all winners and all get a trophy?

I thought that the missing set of gnashers was yours Bob!
Maybe Peter Rafter has heard a new joke he would like to share with us?
I don't think Peter knows any new jokes

Bulldog now has four fine wheels, one at each corner where they belong and she is soon to have a nice coat of paint.

Mary, you are clearly not on his mailing list, which is a blessing believe you me! [-o<

On the subject of ivory, I see that Jack is busy getting his teeth into appendix K or some such, elsewhere on the site, so they must have turned up after all.

Anyway it is good to know that Essex is not completely cut off from civilisation by the weather, unlike most other parts of the forum!

Love,

Bob.
