1966 Plus 4 - 2 seater. LHD.

Post by Jim Lowry »

I have a running and driving 1966 2 seater Plus 4 to sell. British Racing green with Black leather interior. High Body - Wire Wheels.

The car looks to be sound structurally, chassis and the body panels appear to be very good, only some original rust coming through here and there.
No fresh paint, no underseal and nothing hidden.

Some new parts recently fitted including 5 new tyres and new brake parts including brake callipers, etc.

Engine runs well and the car drives with everything functioning. Paintwork looks old but tidy enough, black leather interior looks original and quite nice.

There are however some problems with the timber frame, around the door A and B posts.

Most likely the car could be used as it is, or you might prefer some repair / restoration before use.

It is not UK registered and has not been used since arriving from the USA last year. All duties are paid.

Slight change of plans - so I am looking for £24,000 for this car.

I am in Chelmsford, Essex and I have a trailer and I can deliver a reasonable distance if required.

Any interest ?

Cheers,

Jim

Hello Jim,
Is there any chance you could post some photos so that I can view (admittedly at a distance !) and get a general idea of the state of the car.

I live in Lancashire so not readily convenient to visit.

Many thanks,

Eddie Singleton.

.

Sorry - the car did sell some time ago but I only just realised I should have mentioned so on this listing.

Thank you Bob for the somewhat "coded" message.

Is it one of disappointment or disbelief ?

Bob, are you sure you have passed the pre- qualifying financial, medical, mental and physical proceedures (stage 1) before you are allowed on the progressive flightpath to the sacred honour of morgan ownership. If perchance you may have offended any current or former owners (black balls spring to mind) then you may need counselling and avice to avoid further dissapointment.
Contact me offline and ill draw a few diagrams, for a suitable fee of course

A vice eh? Now that sounds like a good idea, or should that read; a bad idea.
