Wanted Side Screens

Afternoon Brother and Mark,

Here we are again, nothing standard about the Morgan marque/specification. So we have 1960's cars fitted with different side screen specs, fixed celluloid windows or sliding Perspex panels.

John Teague in his book "Morgan Plus 4 Superprofile" talks about :-

- in the fifties Plus 4 Sidescreens were of traditional vintage style with flexible celluloid windows.

- sophisticated (his word !) Sidescreens with perpex panels sliding in an aluminium frame are provided on the tourer Morgan. I assume this refers to the cars of the next decade.

Looking at my extensive photographic record of +4's the sixties cars are predominantly the sophisticated version!!

As you say Mark, the Coupe is sophistication, par excellence !!

Finally if I can get a pattern set, then I have a man who can make them.
