Thanks to Chris for all the reports.

The worst weekend in Team Aero's history saw a differential failure in qualifying on Saturday and a clutch failure at the start on Sunday. Neither component has failed before. Both units are renewed in the course of the annual winter rebuild.

Cars...................

Best wishes, Keith..

Bad luck Keith, how annoying to have two failures during one weekend. As you say ....cars!

Keith, Oliver, Billy, Jack,

What dreadful bad luck - we're all desperately disappointed for you.

Best Wishes for a return to form at Silverstone on the 24th September.

Meanwhile at Oulton Park the two Morgans in the Gentleman Drivers race had a classic 'Tortoise & Hare' encounter.

The Kremer +4 started by Dion was away at the start pulling out a good lead over Rob Wells in the Malcolm Paul car. Startitng in the 2m 32s Dion's times dropped steadily to 2m 11s as the track dried out - whilst the lead grew by a few seconds each lap to 40s by the time the cars came in to change drivers at 35 minutes, Rob's best being 2m 16s.

Once the cars' owners took over (plus some heavy showers) Gabriel Kremer was a few seconds a lap slower than Malcolm Paul. Down came the gap to 35s - 28s - 23s and so on until Malcolm just got ahead 5 laps from the finish and then stretched out a 15 second advantage by the end. A fascinating race.

Another notable Mog-man took the win - Peter Horsman in his sports Lotus - Congratulations !

Have Fun
