BDC Silverstone
Still dry and hot here in East Anglia.
If I recall correctly in 1976 when it was a hot summer the weather broke with torrential rain at the BDC meeting (which then used to be at end of month on the bank holiday Saturday)
Just checked with Wiki entry about 1976 summer -
‘’In the last week of August, days after Denis Howell was appointed 'Minister for Drought', severe thunderstorms brought rain to some places for the first time in weeks’’

You don't seem to be on the entry list?

After you revealed the identity of my undercover source at Spa, he is probably too afraid to show his face.Mary Lindsay wrote:You don't seem to be on the entry list?

MSA allows entry under anonymous name !
Actually Mary with you in the Mog race I chickened out and am concentrating on the ex John Lindsay (heard of him ?) +4 in the prestigious TT. And leaving time to perhaps take some pics. A bit of a headache to bring +8 as well.
Am actually going via Prescott today but that is another story which I can tell you when you tell me about your recent European trip.

Re: BDC Silverstone
Whilst you were all at Silverstone, I was enjoying the VSCC hillclimb at Prescott where there was some Morgan interest... It was good to catch up with Tony Lees in his rapid AC/GN Cognac Special. I also met with George Proudfoot who was campaigning his Series 1 Morgan - he was pleased to be putting in competitive times despite giving away a couple of hundred cc to others in his class.

Re: BDC Silverstone
Thank you everyone who helped us sort out our logistics after the axle failure in race 2. Thanks especially due to Leigh Sebba who kindly towed the poorly Mog back home on his trailer while John drove Leigh's Plus 4 JNV back to Techniques. Thanks also to the Aero Racing crew without whose help we could not have got the Mog onto Leigh's trailer.
Diagnostics are well under way!
