Re: Brands Hatch 25th April
Great to be back at a race track, and a paddock full of Morgans, plus personnel of course. A few wild hair styles, evidence of 'sticking to the rules' were apparent, and the mandatory mask meant some difficulty in recognising a few. No problem with Jack of course. New kids on the block fresh from Caterham ranks, and sporting two iconic Mogs, made their mark pretty quickly, where was Mr Ahlers when you need him? Plenty to write about for MOG magazine, so if you want to know who did what that is where to find out. The racing was as always well worth the journey South, especially by chauffeur driven Porsche, a lot of excellent performances, and friendly (I think) banter in the pits. Cadwell will see the debut of the latest MMC entry so watch out for some fireworks/damp squibs. Next up for me will be Donington in July, a long wait, but what can one do?

Tripos Media will be posing links to pictures shortly. Watch this space.
You know over the years I have heard some weird reasons for retirements but Jack is right up there with the best.

Thanks Chris, also now linked from the Challenge web site.
Re: Brands Hatch 25th April
My 'Hole-in-the-Fence' pictures are here' https://photos.app.goo.gl/4ePrceLHYmqcMhRW8 Despite seeing only one other photographer, besides Chris, all day, I was not allowed a vest myself.
With shaky legs and a strong breeze, I could not capture the action even at a fast shutter speed. who said 'age will not weary them'?
Thanks to those who suffered my recorded interviews, some I have reproduced for my MOG report, and some will be utilised as and when needed.
If anyone can supply pictures from Cadwell Park, they would be very gratefully received, as I cannot see me making it that far North, not even as suggested by ex-friend Stephen, on a bike.
Kind regards to all,
Bob

Sorry to hear that you weren't given a photographer's pass Bob. You managed to take some great photos despite your difficulties, thank you.

You know it's only a 200mm lens - I've been told that size doesn't matter - it's what you do with it
