Race Seats

Post by Rob Toon »

Having tried to squeeze my athletic form (waist 34")into a Sparco Rev Seat and had to be forcibly extracted with the aid of two tyre levers and a jar of KY jelly I was wondering what other seating arrangements are being used out there. Is anyone using a seat that doesnt require modification prior to fitting.....if so what. It has to fit a Plus 8. Even better if you have one for sale.

Don't know if this would be any good, might be worth a look.

Thanks Jim, I will investigate although it does look a little austere for the longer journey's!!

If you're keeping the car for road use and the speed championship you could look at the Cobra roadster 7 - made for the 7 series of cars - and I've used one in my 4/4 for some years. Not for circuit racing though.
