Quarter Century Cup Entries

Post by Richard Smith »

Sign up, sign up! For cars that are 25 years old now, and taking part in competitions this season. Send me the details, and tell me what are original out of chassis, bodywork, tub, engine, gearbox and back axle. There is a trophy to be won! You need to register though, see current Miscellany for details!

I can't see anything about it in the February Miscellany. What page is it on?

I have just about a whole page about the rules for the 2009 season towards the front of the mag!: the need for competitors to register is in there.

Cheers,

Richard

I was looking for a REGISTER NOW feature. It is buried in the small print but to be honest I don't think people read the small print! Obviously I didn't! We all know that Morgan racing drivers can't read!

Is there any chance of a monthly or bi-monthly update in Miscellany of the points table to create some interest and incentives for people to register and compete for the various trophies? This would raise the profile of the club awards and encourage people to have a go at winning them.

The Speedmog Championship sets an excellent example in this.

regular updates of the points situation? Hmmm, I wanted to do that last year. (Had I done so, I would have probably picked up the half year plate, as I would have seen that I needed only one more event!) I will have a look and see if I can do this easily. I tend to pile up the results in a batch, as opposed to entering them every week.

please can we move discussion to Awards section, as opposed to things for sale, the topic was put here only as a whimsical 'things wanted'
