I was rather suprised recently to recieve an e-mail from a friend, who said he had seen my picture in the April (Yes!) edition of Octane magazine.
I googled Octane magazine and sure enough, there accompyaning the report of the Mike Hawthorn 50th. Memorial in Farnham, was yours truly talking to Tony Brooks. If you have to ask 'Who's Tony Brooks?' Don't bother checking it out.

Could you tell which one was me?

As you drive in to Farnham you find it is twinned with some town in Germany! Rather ironic when you consider Mike's hatred of 'Krauts', as he called them.
