Double Masters Header in Iberia

Post by Phil Egginton »

The Master Series calendar is now out and there is an opportunity to do a double header here in Iberia later in the year:

October 15th - 17th Algarve, Portugal, Historic Festival
October 21st - 23rd Monteblanco, Spain, Masters Festival

As you will probably know I am based at the Autodromo do Algarve and it would be great to see a group of Moggies making the trip. Monteblanco is just over the border in Spain (under 2 hours drive).

I can help with local accommodation finding and hospitality whilst your here. I have access to a number of boxes overlooking the start/finish straight and we can offer a package with "beer and picnic" included!

Last years Historic Festival was the car racing highlight of our year and this years promises to be even better.

Give it some thought and let me know either here, by PM or phil@puxarlustro.com.

Hi Phil

I raced in the Algarve Festival last year and am definitely returning for the double header this coming Oct! It was a fantastic event and I would encourage anyone who can bear the transport costs for getting car there to do it. Fabulous circuit, hotels on the beach, sun all weekend, amazing sea food......

I don't know yet if organisers will be offering any 'incentives' this year, but will keep your offer to find accommodation handy.

See you there!

Regards, Mike

Just to keep everyone informed, I spoke to the event organiser today and he tells me there will be some form of accomodation help. As soon as I know more I will let you know.

There is a test day on Thursday 14th October for anyone unfamiliar with the circuit or who wants to blow the cobwebs off the car etc..

Looks liek 2 Mogs coming so far.... anymore????????????

Hi Phil

Guess 3 Morgans now- Simon O-G and Rick Bourne in SLR, Richard Plant & Tony Lees in Plus 4, James Paterson & myself in Plus 4. All in Gentleman Drivers 90 minute race. I believe a lot of grids are full which is great news!

Just order up the same weather as last year please!

Mike

Aug 27th 0544hrs- Amendment to above! Simon's SLR not entered so it is just the two Plus 4s in GD.
