Richard – I think Pete and me are beginning to ‘feel our age’ and accepting that we have to defer to the younger generation. And I liked your excited comment when the results were read out that ‘you beat a racer’ when you beat me – I would point out that I know I am way slower than a lot of you sprint guys (and gals) – but of course it takes us 20 or 30 minutes lapping to get into our stride. :)

Anyway – a very enjoyable day – an event where there is constant ‘action’ but still time for a bit of a chat – highly recommended to all – whether new to motorsport or experienced sprinters or racers.

The star was the factory +4 ably handled by Gregor D-S (and I understand that he excelled in it in his very first race at Thruxton the day before). Should be a front runner for the TT.
