1961 Plus Four totally rebuilt to Supersports specification. The black car is regrettably for sale to fund an exciting new Morgan project.
Completely rebuilt from the ground up over a period of 6 years as an exact Supersports replica with low line bodywork. Correct in every aspect including rare Weber 42 DCOE carbs and Supersport cooling system.

The black car since completion in 2005 has raced with the Morgan challenge series, and the prestigious Equipe GTS and continues to race with the HSCC in Historic Roadsports as well as the unmissable Techniques Trophy at the Bentley Drivers Club Silverstone meeting in August, every one of which has been successfully contested including this years - where these photos were taken.

On the button and ready to race "The Black Car" would also be eligible for the Masters Gentleman Drivers series, Cloth Cap and GT and Sports Car Cup once FIA papers have been obtained. Some modification would be necessary to get HTP papers but because of its build date of 1960/1961 the black car would fall in to period E (up to 1962) as well as period F (up to 1965) making it doubley eligible for all the nice pre 1963 races!

The price reflects this so it provides an unmissable opportunity to purchase a highly desirable racing Plus Four with tremendous potential at a realistic price.
