Sunday 21st of May sees Keith Ahlers and Oliver Bryant return to Donington, scene of their titanic shoot-out in last week's Power Torque Morgan Challenge race. Last week's combatants become this week's team-mates for Round 3 of the British GT Champoinship.
Having suffered from a lack of rear end grip at Oulton Park they are hoping for better things in the 2 hour race on Sunday - I can't put it any better than the ever excellent http://www.Dailysportscar.com :-
Keith Ahlers was not a happy chappy in Cheshire, having to endure two races with insufficient rear-end grip in the Morgan Aero 8. Hopefully, the rubber supplied this coming weekend will match Billy Bellinger’s mechanical prowess and allow the Jersey driver and Oliver Bryant to challenge at the front.
Qualifying is on Saturday and the race on Sunday at 1pm - TV coverage to be broadcast on Channel 4 7:30 am Saturday 27th May.
More news as the weekend develops.
Have Fun

Unfortunately the Malvern flag is not fluttering too much at the minute.
After a 75 minute free practice on Saturday morning there is obviously a problem with the Aero 8 quote from Keith (via http://www.Dailysportscar.com) :-
"Keith Ahlers and Oliver Bryant were less happy in the Team Aero Morgan, finishing plum last of the cars setting a time. “We’ve just rebuilt the engine and we’ve got mapping problems by the looks of things,â€

Back from Donington where it was cold and wet (and miserable).
Jacl Bellinger explained that after the rebuild the engine was not at all right, it was thought to be due to an engine mapping problem but that turned out not to be the case.
An early Sunday morning visit to John Eales' emporium and further diagnosis traced it to a probelm with the timing, this was put right and then back to the track just in time to prepeare for the race.
Cold and wet but Oliver got the car moving immediately, passing four or five cars in the first few laps and getting into the Class points before dropping back slightly towards the end of his stint.
The race was 2 hours long requiring a driver change and refuelling and a proviso that no one driver could drive more than 90 minutes. So oliver was left out as long as possible before being called in at about 75 minutes - fule in and driver changed and off went Keith. Unfortunately the boss was soon back hardly able to see due to oil mixing with the water on the windscreen. A lengthy stop ensued with the bonnet up whist Billy tried to identify the source, out went Keith again but before long he brought the Aero 8 in to retire after 90 minutes and 57 laps.
So a sad end to the weekend - but is was great to see the Aero 8 mixing it with the rest again (I missed Oulton Park) and great credit must go to Billy and Jack Bellinger for their herculian efforts to get the car on the grid.
Hard Luck guys, but Well Done for at least giving it a good go.
Have (well-timed) Fun
PS - Ian Grimes (Keith's one-time GT mechanic and ex-Libra Motive) and his new charge, a Ferrari 360 managed, a superb 3rd overall and 2nd in class in the dreadful conditions.
