1956 Morgan +4 Fiberglass One-Off Sports Racer

Post by Eddie Singleton »

I am not a regular on this board, but thought people might be interested to read about a +4 Sports Racer in America, now housed in a collection. Some of you may know about it and others may not, so for the latter, take a look at "forgottenfiberglass.com" and search Morgan +4.
An interesting story, and whilst the car is distinctly not Morgan in looks, it does, in my view, have superb lines. Is there a hint of the SLR viewing the side profile? Shame the original moulds are reportedly lost/destroyed.
Over to the racers and +4 enthusiasts for comments, views etc.
Eddie Singleton.

What a beautiful car!
Thanks for finding the information Eddie; I will contact them to see if I can use some of their photos on the Challenge web site.

A link to the Morgan on the website below :-

I'm a regular visitor at Forgotten Fiberglass - not the clearest website but those Americans were really doing some exciting stuff in the 1950s and 60s with the new wonder material !

Have Fun
