We are preparing our 1998 4/4 2-seater for some modest competition work and have a modest budget to match.
Does anyone out there have a roll bar they don't want that might fit?

Re: Wanted: Rollbar for 1998 4/4 2 seater
Hi Mary,
I have a "long door" factory roll bar that I recently bought 'cheap' for stock, but it may be too wide for your 4/4. What is the measurement across the car where the hood frame is attached each side?
Regards, Tim.
ps: Will you possibly have a spare ticket or two for Oulton?

Re: Wanted: Rollbar for 1998 4/4 2 seater
Hi Tim,
I am not going to be at Oulton I'm afraid, Steve Carr of the MGCC allocated my entry for Snetterton to the wrong event but this has now been rectified. So no passes, sorry.
As for the rollbar - I am told by those who know about these modern Morgans that our car is probably a long door narrow chassis car.
I have just measured it and it is 46.5 inches (or in new money 1 metre 8cms) across the car where the hood frame mounts. I suspect this is too narrow for the modern rollbar but if you have one to hand then I am sure you will be able to tell me.
Many thanks,
Mary
