I know Andy - aren't they great?!
550 DXN - yes one of the two! One now with Jeff Stow and t'other with Rupert Richards family ?
Alan Kennedy - I saw one of the two languishing at the late Andy Simms place years ago - it was blue but don't know what became of it.
Mike Duncans car was offered for sale a year or two ago in the States still fitted with Lotus twin cam.
I think the Trago Mills Plus 8 went to Norway.
Well that's a start... but stand to be corrected!
Cheers
Mark

and t'other with Rupert Richards family ?
Mark, just in case you missed it there are pictures of Rupert's car at the Revival on the usual site - if it helps.
I trust you will be at the Birkett!
Bob.

I think I did a a few 6 hour relays but missed out in the glory year of 1978 maybe as I had a new car in Oct 1977 and it was too nice to race for a year or two !

Is it just the one team this year then?
It will not be the same without dozens of Mog Sorts lurking about, and there will be a dearth of cars to photograph.
Surely it about time we had a 'Ladies team' entered, there must be sufficient of the fair sex to make up a half dozen.
Bob.

Bob, those of us who don't enjoy being battered by the saloons and Caterhams in the Silverstone 6 hour relay are doing the 750MC Historic Birkett at Snetterton on 2nd November but I guess you can't cycle that far......

I have just found this link to the 750MC website and a fascinating piece about Mr Holland Birlkett written by his daughter - the 6-hour Relay was his brainchild and it was named the 'Holly Birkett in recognition him.
Have a quick read it's very interesting -

Mary, as you have no qualms about constantly posting pictures of yourself on the site, in what may be considered blatant self-aggrandisement, I now have little conscience about boasting that I have (admittedly in the past - dim and decidedly distant) cycled from North London to Snetterton for a race meeting. At he end of the meeting cycling on to Norwich to say hello to a girl I used to know, (took her to the pictures) before cycling home again over night.
Only a man of outstanding strength and stamina could manage such a feat as I am sure you will agree.

Bob I am impressed.
Why not try that feat of endurance again?
You could go and see if the girl still lives in Norwich, she might be pleased to see you.
If not we can offer you tea and sympathy at Snetterton.

Surely you still have your bicycle Bob?
Maybe just a photo of it, unless you are too modest, one has to avoid blatant self-aggrandisement

Yes, Mary I am a modest man "with much to be modest about." (Winston Churchill)

This is me Mary as I set out on my epic journey.
Passing near Snetterton on the way home.
And home at last, tired but triumphant.
Oh! Yes. I was truly a great cyclist, and never used any kind of stimulant except the challenge to be the best at anything I attempted.
Few could match me in any sporting arena, and I still have the medals to prove it.
