Info sought on +4 flat rad 2331 MYP338

Just discovered this forum and wondered if anyone can help.
Purchased this car in 2008.
It was originally a 1952 chassis delivery to Basil Roy
An australian bought it in "tired condition" "looked as though it had previously been raced" from john Britten motors - salesman Chris Alford - in 1974. It had a TR4 engine and fibreglass wings by then.
A couple of years later he took it to Singapore ( ran a bit in Malaysian classics) then eventually sydney .its now in Ballarat, Victoria.
Some of the members on this forum seem to have great stores/recalls of numbers, so, here's hoping - Does anyone have any info on it pre 1974?
All I have is that a Patrick Rowe from near Peterborough owned it for a while.
