I take that as a compliment coming from a professional such as yourself!
Tempted to buy the item for your mantlepiece?

Hi Mary,
I reckon Bob is trying to work out how to fit it to his pushbike.
It took him ages to workout how to fit the tennis racquet carrier that I sold him !

Re: Roll bar for sale
It will double up as a tennis racquet carrier….
Re: Roll bar for sale
What idiot would buy a square roll bar? It's just another Lindsay racket in my opinion.

Took me ages to work out that Tim had flogged me a second hand Dingo trap, which he claimed was a tennis racket holder for a lightweight racing bike. Nearly lost several fingers trying to bolt it on to the bottom bracket. Damned ex-patriotsTim Hill wrote:Hi Mary,

Bob .......... You will probably find out later on ..It was not a Tennis Racquet Holder ??
but for a man of your age it was a pair of stabilisers and you fitted them upside down!!
happy new year

Re: Roll bar for sale
Bob, being a sort of 'Wise Tribal Elder', could correct me here perhaps. I am wondering if an anti-roll bar may be far more preferable to a roll bar ?
Unfortunately, it could be useless for holding a tennis racquet....or even catching a dingo.

All very whitty chaps, BUT ... this is not helping Mary shift her iron work, which is the intention of this thread. I wonder if a demonstration of the efficiency of the device by Mrs Lindsay would help in moving the object on to a new home?
Perhaps a trip into the gravel at Paddock Hill Bend would convince potential buyers that it could be a wise investment.
What do you think?
The Ever Helpful, Bob.

Re: Roll bar for sale
Thanks for your helpful remarks Bob, I tested a similar bar at Snetterton some years ago and I can vouch for their efficacy.Perhaps a trip into the gravel at Paddock Hill Bend would convince potential buyers that it could be a wise investment.
As this one is described as new it would be counterproductive to demonstrate it since it would then no longer be new.
I do appreciate your trying to bring the thread back to the point of my posting though.
