Don't You Just Hate it ....?

Don't you just hate it when the forum goes all quiet, and uninteresting? There wasn't even one of my photos in Miscellany this month!!! #-o

Where is Tony Lees when you need him?

Has John Clarke gone 'native' in Australia or has he been pardoned and returned to rural Buckinghamshire?

Must we wait for more boring race reports from obscure meetings before we see signs of life here?

Hello! Is there anyone out there?

Bob, we rely on you for the lively input so that we lesser mortals can make our meagre responses to your superior wit.

Tell us about your latest cycling exploits or delve into your archives for tales of derring do. \:D/

37 entries for Snetterton!
Unless its a rolling start I will probably be halfway round Corum on the grid?

Fantastic entry for the first race of the season - have fun everyone. =D>

When we have rolling starts the back of the grid is usually half way round Coram when the lights go out anyway.

You could dazzle us with your scintillating wit… or did you mean the rolling start?

The action is around 2:10 and seems red light out but delayed start board still there ?

Anyway the video is a standing start and the whole point of a rolling start is to avoid these pile ups at start – hopefully.

It was an absolute shambles, with a lot of damage done that cannot be seen in the video ! Only the first few rows could see the 'delayed start' board, and the rest of the 48 starters did what you do when the red lights go out.

At first the 'organisers' blamed the drivers, however [because of threatened legal action?] later appologised.

I agree with Leigh...rolling starts are safer, and also kinder on the cars.

No Greg I just let it all roll over me, as to the rest of them, I'm not standing for any nonsense.

I appreciate your fine efforts to inject some life into this virtually moribund site, I can only surmise that winter rebuilds have not gone well, and our fellow members are too busy trying to remember where they put their Hans device.

With the increasing use of in car cameras there must be plenty of amusing footage to watch over the coming season. Roll on!!!

G'day cobber,

Bob.

Hans device?
Any relation to Lotte?
If you are old enough, and some of us are, you will recall those flickering black and white images on
the Logie Baird contraption --it was often said that he couldn't tell his Hans from his Hass!

geddit?

"old enough"...why, I am so old I can remember when you could buy shoe laces that didn't keep coming undone.

Lotte only died a couple of months back. Her obit started

‘Lotte Hass was known as the first lady of diving’
