Yes thank you Mary. I will demonstrate my gratitude on Monday. Please ensure that Mr L is well out of sight. 8-[

Haivng seen the pit garage allocation, I was just wondering which car Weigh Bridge is driving? Possibly a Roadster Lightweight?

Maybe it is John Bevan's non-de-plume? Tony.

.....and we have a nearby weigh-bridge ... and Wayne Bridge took his son to our local kart track where Parnell jnr, jnr lapped him. That's three of a kind!

For one who was unable to attend, thanks to a lack of accreditation (******** MSV) I am left wondering about the whereabouts of Keith Ahlers in Race 6. He was listed as being in pole position but fails to appear in the result in any capacity.

Can someone who was there explain this anomaly?

Many thanks,

Bob.

Hi Bob

Sorry you were absent.
I believe the car was not 100% and as Keith had been racing 3 different cars in long races over the Sat/Sun at the Masters event he decided that discretion was the better part of valour and decided to withdraw. At the end of the race I saw him clapping in all the participants as they came down the pitlane as they left the track. Nice touch I thought!

See you soon

Alan

Thanks Dominic, as you say very sporting of Keith, but then he is a nice bloke, (well he drives a Morgan).
Missing the meeting was a shame, but at least I did not have the pleasure of M20, M25, M1 getting home on a Bank Holiday Monday, and did not have to face the Blackwall tunnel.

Oulton is a definite no, no, but all being well I expect to make both rounds at Cadwell, so I hope to see you there.

Bob.
