Thank you all for your good wishes, I am pleased to report that the day went well with a plethora of cards (Mary, Leigh, very nice.) and lots of money to spend on Amazon.
I hope to see you all at Cadwell in July, hotel booked, car hired, all I need now are tickets.

Well it was yesterday, but today a package arrived via Fed Ex and I do not know how to thank you all for such a truly nice gesture. Lots of lovely grub, but it is, as always, the thought that counts, and I am truly moved by your kindness. Luckily this is a web site otherwise there would be tear stains on the pages.
I will treasure the message that came with it long after the goodies have been consumed.
I will try to show my thanks at Cadwell Park.
