I am sitting in an internet cafe in Lukla, in the Everest region of Nepal. We've just returned from the mountain, Mera Peak. We managed to reach the summit plateau before serious adverse weather forced our retreat, all got off the hill safely.

Will be thinking of you all on Saturday. Sorry not to be with you but I'll be in Kathmandu. Wishing you all good luck, see you at the dinner.

Best regards, Peter. :D

Damp to start with but dry after that at Silverstone - can't say how it was for Sarge in Nepal :P

Charles - That's my Goodwood Revival suit, and it survived because I have 32 years Birkett experience, it was my first ever Race Meeting (arm twisting by Mary L) in 1974.

Good to see you there.

Have (6 hour) Fun

The reason for Charles' quote;

Andy Downes does his Martin Bell act whilst Kate Orebi Gann sets the policy
