Have made a new heading for this

‘’I have checked the maths, and (I did warn you) I believe the position, assuming the same provisos, then;
Tim currently on 99 points after two dropped scores would drop another 8, but pick up 11 + 102
Brett on 96 drops 6 adds 11 + 101
Tony on 95 drops 8 adds 11 = 98
Phil on 94 drops 8 adds 11 = 97 ‘’
Entry list now on the MG website and it seems all contenders have at least three in their class

And I am not hoping for rain as I don’t like getting wet and I don’t like racing in the rain, unless I can use Avons which I cant
Re: Snetterton Decider - how exciting
Looking at the entry list, and meaning no disrespect to anyone, on paper three of the contenders would look set fair for maximum points, however, the fourth has some fierce competition! Now will someone do the decent thing?
Naturally nothing can be taken for granted in motor racing, so fate may yet have a hand to play in the affairs of men. As you say Leigh ...EXCITING!!

Well we had some excitement at Snetterton, mainly for those who came across Keith's oil field at Coram.
Apart from the actual on-track action I was impressed by the close knit nature of the participants. We as usual, had married couples Phillip and Sharlie, Michele and Chris, father and son Alan and Dominic, John and Tom Richards plus Kelvin and Alexander all racing together, while Mr and Mrs Thompson were heavily involved in proceedings as well. Many drivers wives were much in evidence, Sue, Jeanette, Kathy,Kate amongst many others, Leigh had brought a whole tribe with him, Paul Bryan also dragged along relations to bolster his fan base
Barry had his two lads, and Peter Rafter brought his little boy along.
Wonderful to see. Why Dominic even had his boss for support!
Touches you heart - don't it.

A good result for Tim, and Class 'R', but Brett was just a single point shy of equalling his score, with Tony only four points back, and Phil six, so well done to them all. A class win is no mean feat, and makes 2019 something to look forward to, why the tea tray might even return south of the border.SimonScott wrote:Congratulations Tim... Great win for class R!
Congratulations to all the competitors, it has been a pleasure to follow the series since a damp Snetterton in April to sunny one in September.

Yes he came past me and then a big bang and a thick cloud of smoke with zero visibility so I tootled gently onto the grass

‘’Leigh had brought a whole tribe with him’’
That was ex racing daughter and family and she was my ‘race coach and adviser’
Yes sorry for those that wanted rain – glorious weather – rather different from the bleak VSCC Snett I spectated at the previous w/e.
