A friend in France has asked if I can advise if this is a UK based car, does anyone recognise it, and who owns it?

I used to be owned by Dion Kremer and it was looked after by Brands Hatch Morgans and indeed this may still be the case.

Apparently my friend, has a friend who is interested in buying the car, but there is no price mentioned, from the information below can anyone venture a reasonable price;

Fully restored in 2003 and maintened since by competition Morgan specialists Brands Hatch Morgans to FIA Plus 4 Super Sports specification, as that of the 1962 Le Mans Class Winner. Presented in immaculate condition, with new FIA HTPs issued in 2015. Engine was rebuilt in keeping with FIA regulations by MASS Racing Developments. The post rebuild dyno testing showed the engine to produce an impressive 184.1 bhp at 6500 rpm and 159.4 lb ft at 5600rpm. A veteran of the Le Mans Classic, Spa Six Hours and more recently 1st in grid 3 at the 2017 Tour Auto and 12th overall.

Any help appreciated.

Bob.

Greetings from the North, where they know nothing but can explain everything.
Did David Phillips run this car in the Chaallenge series some years ago (2009-11?) After he sold it David also bought the oldest known Morgan racing car from Australia and showed it at the Techniques race at Silverstone). I recall it appearing at a bentlsy drivers meet but not driven by David.
If this is so It went to France and after some success was put on sale there 2 years ago with notakers.
Notwitstanding this, it is al lovely car and probably worth more than the 100 old Francs i have squirreled away under the mattress.
regards to all

Hi Bob,

I know all about this car - and who owns it.

It was indeed the Kremers car and then David Phillips.

If you want to send me an email please do and I can put you/ your'friend' in touch with the vendor! (A good friend of my son!)

Cheers

Mark
