Re: Racing News!
Bob, should you have applied for media accreditation to Mark Baulch of MGCC (MSV now allowing limited media attendance) I would merely wish to remind you that I shall be in the pretty red car.
I would hope that I am not the only entrant as there is no list as yet on the MGCC site.
I have practiced Elbow bumps as a symbol of greeting should I recognise anybody.
The local lockdown is restricted to the City and not the county. There was an ancient Iron age settlement on the City site and on my last visit to the Rugby club (albeit some years hence , it was versus the All Blacks) the majority of the crowd were direct descendants or related to various prehistoric tribes.
Hic.

Re: Racing News!
I have applied Peter, via MSV, and now await to see if I am amongst the Chosen Ones, the number strictly limited. I suspect I am not famous enough to warrant inclusion. How big is the boot of the Pretty Red Car?
I do remember the Iron Age ... or was it the Ironing Age?

Re: Racing News!
MSV are showing empathy with OZ and the lockdown in Melbourne and have excluded the Melbourne loop from this coming weekends race at Donington.
Pity, it added to what is still a fine track. So must remember my panic breaking point on the Dunlop straight to make the Fogarty esses.
The Loop will be the assembly area as usual.

Sadly I shall not be travelling all of 20 miles to join you all at Donny.
Hope to see you at BDC.
Have fun

Re: Racing News!
Ah- the Melbourne Loop. In the days when a certain Mr. Gillette was trying to make Donington into a F1 circuit, I had an almighty tussle with a certain left hooker called Ulrich. He made a last minute attempt to be first into the Esses and all I have left of that tussle is a piece of film of his front wheel, closer than the two metres previously mentioned elsewhere, locked in a cloud of rubber smoke just off my nearside front wheel. He didn't make it, and had to turn around in the Melbourne Loop before rejoining the fray .
Perhaps Bob could have an Honorary role, in consideration of his input to the Morgan racing community and the importance of this particular weekend's get together. At the appointed hour he should be allowed to stand in the Melbourne Loop in front of pole sitter and be able to raise a placard, 'Gentlemen, (with a couple of exceptions), Start your engines'. What a roar there will be.
Hope you all have an excellent weekend.
Andrew
