Willhire 24 1982

I am planning to write an article for publication on the 1982 Willhire 24 Hour Race held at Snetterton, and won by a Morgan. To this end I would be happy to receive any information, memories, anecdotes etc., on the race, and any relevant Morgan tales from the other editions of the Willhire.
Pictures from the period would be most welcome and fully credited, as would any quotes used in the item.
Not every marque can boast of winning a twenty four hour race, so let's hear it for the finest of British sports cars.
