Escort appeared to be bought in by auctioneer boss Nick Whale who made some nice comments about Mike Bell.
The Mog seemed to struggle to reach its sale price
The Gilbern racer was cheap but then I saw on ten tenths chat it was bought by a group including Mike Bell’s sister Mary who hopes to race it in future.

And the airstream was unsold at 65K! It was "sold" at silverstone auctions in November at 79K but not paid for by purchaser(!)... and was on ebay the month before at 69.
Luckily, my paddle remained down.

Baby Blue sold for £69,052 including commission.
There were 4 bidders all on the phone for it and bidding was enthusiastic.
It was finally down to two bidders and I think the winning bidder may have had more steam had it gone higher.
Is it anyone we know...?
Cheers,
Mark

I have trouble getting it up these days
Re: 1959 Morgan +4 Historic Race Car For Sale – SuperSports Specification
Who bought the Morgan? We do not know, and the auctioneers are not allowed to divulge details of to whom, or where it went, No doubt time will reveal all, but if I remember correctly much of the early bidding for the car was from Germany.
