awkward fuel filter
Having trouble identifying the fuel filter on my 1993 1.6efi. Supposed 'quickfit'connection at the top, union underneath. The part number search shows it as quickfit top and bottom. Only trouble is, I cant get the quickfit connector off: even the lcal Morgan expert and Ford expert are flumoxed. There are no apparent areas to push, squeeze or pry! It can be seen at http://www.unstonegreen.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Help!

Re: awkward fuel filter
Richard,
Looks like a Bosch fuel filter to me. If it is, I had them on my Fiat 2lt Twin Cam. The new ones came with "pipe ends" already on them, so soulition could be to remove your fittings and put pipe onto filter with jubilee clip

Re: awkward fuel filter
Richard,
This looks like the sort of fitting which is often used in pneumatics. If so then you need to squeeze together the white bit and the black bit, being careful not to put any pressure on the filter itself.
Good luck,
Frank.
