New pits at Silverstone

Post by Chris Acklam »

Plans for a new pit and paddock complex (between Club and Abbey) at Silverstone have been approved by Aylesbury Vale District Council - see here.

Interesting. Presumably they would keep the current pit complex for National and International track races, and just use this for F1 and GP/Historic GP races. Expensive build for a few races in the year.

The buzz at Donington this weekend was that the British F1 GP moves there from 2010 and they're spending £350 million on improvements! (they have already knocked down some old sheds...)
All I can find is speculation: http://www.motorsport100.co.uk/news/28-05-08_22
