Re: Miscellany
If you hadn't told us we may have thought it WAS you. Yes great picture - I couldn't think where it was when I first saw it. When John and I took his pre war 4-4 to Porto among all the ferraris, cobras, etc we were on front page of local newspaper - perhaps cos we went slow enough for the cameras !
I suppose, to answer your question, perhaps bribe the editor ?
Or pose in a Beckham style pose with your car ?

Re: Miscellany
Sorry Jim, I also thought it was you - that's why I put the one of your dad in the article. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll feature soon!

When he’s as old as his father (or me) perhaps he too will get his pic on Miscellany

Re: Miscellany
Mr moderator - please !! And sometime I will (brag brag) show you the photo of me somewhat undressed watching Monaco practice this year from the roof of Fairmont hotel - having just jumped out of roof top swimming pool as I heard the cars coming

Re: Miscellany
Leigh, the mind boggles as to your state of undress and you should know by now that bragging cuts no ice at the back of the grid

Re: Miscellany
Jim - in the light of the latest Sep Miscellany perhaps you've picked up some more tips
1 Wear large white overalls with a belt somewhat high up your back
2 Or wear white overalls and look like a worried professor
and, of course,
3 Use a top world class (very modest) photographer
I think the photo really needs a caption competition
eg
Brian - yes Richard that is the clutch and when you lift your foot you will squash John

Re: Miscellany
Something along the lines of,
"Simon Cowell trades X Factor for Le Mans"
Very good pic, now if you could get one of me, and send it to Charles I would be ever so greatful.
