You know I tried very hard to spell squawk, but I could not remember how. Was it pity, good manners or a failure by anybody to spot the mistake that meant I have not received a ticking off over the error?

Bob the World was also Blessed with my presence in South Chelsea( Battersea to you) but what are you talking about Old Boy obviously Elecution lessons were not taught in the 40s . Being younger than you. South Chelsea stepped up a couple classes in the 50s

think my surname came from when the Normans invaded too. Great, great, great, great grandpa use to say it was stange how the natives use to ring the bells to guide the boats in, but the horrid boat trip was worth while as the crumpet on the mainland was eager for some real men. Oh, actually we came from the West coast. Maybe the boats got a bit lost, like me on a race track.
