CBM 199

Can anyone shed light on CBM 199, and it's current whereabouts? The car was owned and rallied by David Webb up until 1938, his grandson would e nterested to know. Pictures from the period may be availale.
Ta ever so,

Bob.

A moderately impoverished pensioner in God's Own County will trawl the back of the armchair and sofa for funds however minor to support BHP. God bless this breed, this happy band. ps Can only hope and pray that 2026 will be better for us all So Old Age Peter, boasts of owning an armchair and a sofa...

Re: IS THIS THE END OF BRAKEHORSEPOWER ? – Comments Please

Dino and JS, in search of more Oomph, set out for the local Ball Bearing factory, sadly Dino lost his bearings and JS lost his braces. Meanwhile Jack the Accessory Man, still hunting the elusive 'Towing Cam' set out for Halfords, home of every car cleaning kit known to man. "Ah! If I can make m...

Fifty quid? Cried Percy Crafter, cowering behind his Big Red One, I do have some rusty nuts I am unwilling to donate, but only if Dame Mary disports herself in a pair of Hot Pants racing suit . . This remark was squarely commended by many of the leering onlookers, who drove wooden cars at various l...

Re: HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!

My Christmas was a mixed affair, so belated best wishes to all. Spent Christmas Day with Judy at the Care Home, and Boxing Day cooking my Christmas dinner, and the next 36 hours regreting it. I will spare you the details. Cards from many of my Morgan friends decorate the room, and an email from the ...

Re: IS THIS THE END OF BRAKEHORSEPOWER ? – Comments Please

One has only to take a look at the 'Last Post' on most of the subjects to realise that the Forum is not much used, apart from this thread, few are dated within a month of today's date, and most have been barren for some years. Unlike some forums BHP has many erudite, insightful, and expert posts, al...

Re: IS THIS THE END OF BRAKEHORSEPOWER ? – Comments Please

All of the replies are from long term members of the forum, which tells you all you need to know about it's users. I suspect that there are too many 'social media sites' for people to be bothered with something as specialist as BHP. Personally I would be sorry to see it die, but so much in my own li...
