Having reached grand old age of 88, I might be the only member of this forum who can remember seeing Chris racing in his hey day. Any one else seen the great man in action. I recall he was driving a dark green Morgan with the hood erected, whether this was TOK I have no idea.

I saw him at Laguna Seca in the 80s in a 2.6 AC Aceca . I still remember the sound the car made, more like a truck than a race car. Too bad it wasn't a Morgan although one of the Baby Dolls was there, and a lovely Flat Rad.

I saw him at the Le Mans classic either the 1st or 2nd event, driving TOK. He was still quick, putting seconds into the other drivers sharing the car, first time out

Dear Morgan friends,
Sorry, I forgot the year, but once Chris raced at Goodwood Revival with his Twinny. A racing car with two Mini engines. One in the front, one on the rear.
But I never forget the many times we, my wife Ingrid and I stayed with Chris and carry. Always a pleasure. Once we went there with two journalists who produced an article for Autovisie. A Dutch car magazine. If was a very pleasant interview. The main photo that was part of the article won a price!
For those who are interested in the history of Chris Lawrence, please, let me know. It will be a pleasure to show you the collection of stuff I have collected. Belief me, it can be done in an hour.............
Suppose you come to Holland, don't forget to visit the Louwman Museum. That will be unforgettable.
All the very best, Machiel Kalf.
PS. Just before Steve Morris finished his job at the MMC, he visited us. After the tour he said: Over the years I have seen a lot, but what you showed me, 90% was totally new to me.
